Dr. Katherine M. Zagon
Dr. Katherine M Zagone is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She has a unique practice focusing on natural women’s health and family wellness, but sees patients of all ages and genders. Her training as a primary care naturopathic doctor allows her to perform appropriate physical exam and order standard as well as advanced labs and diagnostics. Utilizing an extensive intake and health history, combined with laboratory data, Dr. Zagone strives to understand the whole being of each patient. She works with each person to create a unique action plan. She emphasizes the mental-emotional component and mind/body connection to help people realize the fullest expression of their health. She finds that working with people on the mental and emotional levels yields profound results in mental, emotional AND physical health because we are addressing the root cause of illness and treating the whole person.
Dr. Zagone received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, where she received the Highest Academic Achievement Award for graduating first in her class. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Health Science from Benedictine University in IL. She has additional training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Holistic Counseling, Cranial Release Technique, and Mayan Uterine Massage. However her most valued credential is the self-healing journey she embarked upon when entering school. Now she helps patients find their inner guidance to heal their health and their lives. She believes in the importance of creativity, honoring your intuition, and “feeling what you feel.” She believes women hold the key to changing the course of health across the globe and through generations to come, and she feels it is her purpose to serve and support women in doing just that. Each visit with Dr. Zagone is a unique healing experience in itself.
She sees patients with a variety of conditions including fatigue, thyroid conditions, autoimmune conditions, PCOS, PMS, fertility challenges and preconception counseling, menopause, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, and more.
In her free time she enjoys yoga, belly dancing, healthy cooking, traveling, and seeing live music. She has performed as a professional belly dancer at the Phoenix Theater Playhouse at the Park, and has visited 14 countries.
